The Swedish chokladbulle takes a different path than most chocolate pastries. It is rich but not heavy, indulgent but restrained, built on dark cocoa rather than sweetness. The dough is soft and yielding, the chocolate filling warm and deep. It is fika for the days when you need something that feels like a quiet reward.
